COFFEE LOVERS - BEST PLACES IN THE WORLD: LISBON

 http://www.travel-tailors.com/detalhado.php?i=377

Culturally speaking, what would be of Lisbon people without their breaks to drink coffee?

Here, coffee is not just served, there is a ritual at the time of preparation. To better understand this process, nothing better than visiting the coffee shop "A Brasileira", a place much frequented by the writer Fernando Pessoa fond of a good black coffee (maybe the best in the country, some say). In Lisbon, other good places to drink coffee is the viewpoint of St. Peter of Alcantara and downtown Lisbon.

THE COFFEE "A BRASILEIRA"

The Coffee, "A Brasileira" is one of the oldest and most famous cafés in Lisbon working as a meeting point to any literary bohemian community in the early twentieth century. It is still possible to feel some of that glamor, while drinking coffee on the terrace overlooking the watchful eyes of Fernando Pessoa.
Interestingly, in 1905 the establishment offered a cup of coffee who bought some of his elixir, little known at the time.
