THE VIEWPOINT OF SANTA LUZIA

Mirador de Santa Lucía

If the weather permits, go to the viewpoint of Santa Luzia discover the maze of streets that make up the Alfama district and some places like the dome of Santa Engracia, the Church of St. Stephen or the two towers of the church of San Miguel, which glimpsed on the horizon. In the background, always present, the Tagus River.

The viewpoint is a popular haunt for tourists, who feel doubly attracted by the beauty of the sight and the two tile panels, one of Commercio Square before the earthquake, and another showing Christians attacking St. George's Castle in 1147.
